École Massey is now accepting registrations for the Fall 2026-2027 French Immersion Kindergarten School Year. If your child will be five years old by December 31, 2026, they are eligible to attend Kindergarten in September.

Smudging is a tradition, common to many First Nations, which involves the burning of one or more natural medicines (plants) gathered from the earth. The four medicines (plants) commonly used by First Nations’ are tobacco, sage, cedar and sweetgrass. The most common medicines (plants) used in a smudge are sage and sweetgrass.

In order for any staff member to administer any essential medications, the following forms must be completed and returned to the school:

The first form is to be signed by parents/guardians.  The second form is to be completed by the prescribing physician, including dosage.
